Chris Gullick,came to Gary Bess Associates in 2008. Her background includes a 20-year career operating her own childcare business before returning to school as a 40-something year old to complete a degree in English at California State University, Chico. Since then, she has taught Academic Writing at the university, worked in elementary school libraries, and covered local education issues as a journalist for the Chico daily newspaper.
Chris is a long-time resident of Chico, where she lives with her husband Michael. Their three adult children and two grandchildren all live in Chico and nearby Vina. Besides her interest in writing and a commitment to trying to make the world a better place, she has a passion for sewing and all kinds of needlework, hiking and camping, and reading.
