Karen Wilkins started with GBA in November 2010 and is a member of the Evaluation Team. Her background includes 25 years working in the field of defined benefit pension plans, which involves working with data, calculating benefits, writing requirements and procedures, and designing correspondence, among other skills. Karen's defined benefits experience began with Rockwell International in Southern California, where she worked in retirement administration for almost 15 years. In 1996, Rockwell's outsourcing of their benefits plan took her to northeastern Florida, where she lived for 13 years and worked with many clients from Fortune 500 companies that also outsourced their defined benefits.
Karen and her husband Dennis have been married for 28 years and now reside in Paradise, having moved from Florida in 2009 to live closer to their families. Karen's sister and brother-in-law live in neighboring Magalia and her dad recently moved from southern California to Paradise. Karen and Dennis both have children living in southern California.
