Maddie is a grant writer, project manager, and client relations expert with wide-ranging experience writing and managing federal and private grants. Before joining GBA in 2020, Maddie spent several years as a grant writer in the nonprofit sector, followed by a stint managing development and Board relations at a private school for children with Autism Spectrum Disorders in her beloved hometown of Atlanta, Georgia.

 

Maddie holds a Bachelor’s degree in English Literature and Sociology from Denison University and a Master of Social Work in Macro Practice from the University of Georgia. When she's not working from her home office in St. Louis, Missouri, you can find Maddie reading, enjoying the outdoors, or relentlessly spoiling her two rescue animals: Waldo, a very large cat, and Maybelle, a very playful pitbull mix.
