Jetta Meadows

Jetta joined GBA in 2005 as an intern in the Master of Social Work (MSW) program at California State University, Chico. After obtaining her MSW degree, Jetta accepted a State Senate Fellowship at the State Capital, working on policy and legislation for a State Senator. Jetta later worked tracking legislation and labor issues for a home health and hospice association, and then as a medical social worker in a local hospital. In 2010, Jetta returned to GBA to pursue her career in macro social work, continuing her interest in health and behavioral health programs and policy.

Jetta is a well-rounded consultant with more than a dozen years working with GBA in survey research, survey development, quantitative/qualitative data analysis and reporting, program design and evaluation, federal grant application preparation, and foundation grant writing. Jetta enjoys working with clients in all areas of consultation including idea development, program implementation, and assessing program effectiveness. Jetta has assisted clients in obtaining millions of dollars in funding, primarily through federal grant awards.

Jetta loves the outdoors, including hiking, sailing, paddle boarding, and kayaking with her husband, two kids, and their mini-schnauzer. She also enjoys traveling, exploring, cooking, singing, and coffee. Jetta’s top priorities are spending time with her family and working to keep her family fit and healthy!

"After we received our SAMHSA CCBHC PDI Grant, we engaged Gary Bess Associates as our Project Evaluator. They have been more than just a “Project Evaluator," they have worked with us on just about every aspect of the CCBHC project. They essentially handed us our Diversity Impact Statement when we started the CCBHC project. This was a tremendous help when we were overwhelmed with work and information during the initial months of the project. GBA has been able to help us with any questions concerning the CCBHC criteria and supported us through the evaluation and data planning process working with us on our sampling plan, the list of measures, and our internal data collection process and plan. We worked with GBA on our CCBHC Attestation and the supporting documentation. GBA provided us with a roadmap to develop our Attestation document and provided us with support, suggestions and help along the way. If you work with GBA, follow their roadmap and put the work in, you will be successful with your CCBHC. They are a pleasure to work with. GBA and their staff have been the best decision I’ve made through our entire CCBHC journey and my staff feel the same way!”
